My work is based on myths, fairytales and folklore featuring strong women and girls. Growing up in all the stories I saw and read men and boys were doing all the epic battles and going on adventures. Now I want to create the images I wish I had seen growing up. To translate this into art use risograph printing. Risograph is a printmaking process that uses stencils like screenprinting. These stencils are printed on top of one another to create the final image. During the process stencils always move a bit making every print unique.
