Merve, Yasemin, Deniz & Ye Guo

"Merve is a Cambridge-based illustrator and designer with an MA in Children’s Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art. Her work is inspired by nature and emotion, focusing on meaningful characters and visual storytelling. She enjoys experimenting with mixed media, particularly monoprinting, and often incorporates handmade textures into her illustrations.

Yasemin is a Turkish-British illustrator based in Cambridge, where she founded the local chapter of Urban Sketchers. She holds a BA in Teaching Visual Art and an MA in Children's Book Illustration. Her work spans a variety of mediums, including ceramics, sculpture, and traditional Turkish paper marbling. She has a particular passion for printmaking, pastels, and
combining different materials to create rich textures.

Deniz loves the flexibility of digital tools and the freedom of traditional media, often combining both in her creative practice. Experimenting with different materials and sketchbook play are her favourite parts of being an illustrator. Small, everyday moments and nature are her greatest inspirations, and she enjoys creating whimsical scenes full of colour and texture.

Ye Guo is an illustrator based in Cambridge. She graduated from Cambridge School of Art and enjoys working with mixed media. She observes and expresses everyday life through a variety of materials."
