Xinyue Zhang

Hi, I’m Xinyue Zhang, an illustrator from China with a MA in MA in Children's Book Illustration from the Cambridge School of Art, I ran an independent illustration studio for three years, focusing on animation and advertisements.

I love using vibrant colors and playful shapes to craft imaginative, storytelling-rich illustrations. Sketching while traveling is a passion of mine—I enjoy capturing my experiences and emotions through quick sketches, documenting the fascinating people I meet, the stories I hear, and the delicious food I taste. Many of the characters in my picture books are inspired by these daily sketches.
